  1. THese shoes were a good buy for the price (less than $25!), they are comfortable and light and ok for my workout. No complaints.

  2. This is a great pair of shoes for working out at the gym and due to the harder soles, they are a great bike shoe. I am a high mileage runner and have several dozen pair of running shoes; most of the major brands and many minor. I would not recommend these shoes for distance running. Their soles lack proper cushion and it would be quiet easy to come up with an impact injury from them. Of course this is just my opinion. One of my best friends has two pair of these and they are her favorite running shoe and she has had no problems with them (yet). As others have pointed out, these shoes do run narrow. Just a tip…unless you know exactly what you are getting, i.e. you tried them on in a store, you probably should hesitate in ordering any New Balance running or workout shoe over the line. New Balance makes wonderful shoes, don’t get me wrong…I have gone through many pair, but the sizes from one model to another differ greatly. Do be careful here.

  3. i have narrow feet, and these are the first running shoes i’ve purchased that actually fit me well — even better than nike narrow tennis shoes. and my recent burst of running harder and faster is a testament to getting shoes that fit. if you have slightly wider than normal feet, or especially if you have wide feet, i can’t imagine these new balance shoes will work for you.
